Steve is privileged to be involved is a huge array of residential projects, most of which benefit from having awe inspiring sites in sensational locations. His designs seek to gain the most from the client brief and design goals, the site, the views and the thermal performance.

Government Projects

Steve is also very experienced in creating highly considered, efficiently procured and well-built government facilities which provide our community with essential infrastructure and support. Steve has designed many emergency services buildings, including Police Stations, Ambulance Stations, Fire Stations, Schools, Preschools and Early Learning Centres. These facilities all contribute towards the provisions of amenity and core support services within our local community.

Steve loves being able to provide his craft and professional services to government facilities which allows our professional responders and care givers a functional and comfortable space to do their essential roles well so that in turn, they can better support our community.

Community Projects

A strong ethical base underpins Steve’s approach to community projects. Whilst each project is a commissioned work, these buildings also have community and contextual responsibilities. As such, Steve is involved in many local community group projects including lifesaving clubs, animal shelters, community halls, performing arts centres and park amenities. These facilities play a vital role in supporting community work, play, volunteering and creating the interaction we all share with one another and the places we come together.

These projects are safe, inclusive, easily operated buildings which integrate low maintenance and easy to operate systems. Steve works hard to make sure that these facilities are practical and adaptable spaceswhich appeal to a large range of users and to diverse community groups.

Healthcare Projects

Local healthcare facilities are some of our most important facilities and the most frequently visited in our community. Doctors’ surgeries, dental practices, counselling rooms and allied health centres need to be well designed, accessible and fit for purpose.

Often, these facilities require efficient space planning, high levels of accessibility, efficient parking sensitive design response. These facility’s work hard and deserve to be thoughtfully designed for their unique purposes and requirements. Steve prioritises light, bright. comfortable and healthy spaces for patients and staff alike by creating well considered floor plans and the unique requirements of each project.

Steve has extensive experience in carefully coordinating specialist requirements and particular fit-outs for health specific disciplines. Dentist chairs, body protection electrical spaces, x-ray rooms, high floor loads and sensitive materials and finishes are all examples of bespoke design approaches which can transform the practicalities of a medical centre.
